CrowdStrike and Schwarz Digits Expand Strategic Partnership; CrowdStrike to Acquire XM Cyber Intellectual Property

WHAT HAPPENED
CrowdStrike signed a definitive agreement on July 16, 2026 to acquire the intellectual property of XM Cyber, a Schwarz Digits company, and expanded its strategic partnership with Schwarz Digits to deliver the Falcon platform on STACKIT, Schwarz Digits' European sovereign cloud infrastructure.
WHO IS INVOLVED
CrowdStrike, Schwarz Digits, and XM Cyber are the three parties. CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz and Schwarz Digits CEO Christian Müller announced the deal, which includes a multi-year roadmap to deploy Falcon across Europe.
WHY IT MATTERS
European enterprises increasingly require cybersecurity with data sovereignty due to regulations like the EU Cyber Resilience Act and NIS2, and this deal lets them access CrowdStrike's AI-native Falcon platform without compromising on security standards.
