Palo Alto Networks Named as OpenAI Marketplace Launch Partner for Cybersecurity

WHAT HAPPENED
OpenAI announced the OpenAI Marketplace on September 29, 2026, allowing enterprise customers to apply part of their existing OpenAI commitment toward approved partner software. Palo Alto Networks was named as one of two cybersecurity launch partners alongside CrowdStrike.
WHO IS INVOLVED
OpenAI established the marketplace with 32 launch partners across multiple categories including cybersecurity, customer experience, legal, and creative work. Palo Alto Networks participates as a cybersecurity provider in the program.
WHY IT MATTERS
The marketplace gives enterprise customers a way to use their OpenAI spending commitments to purchase integrated third-party security solutions, potentially increasing adoption of AI-enhanced security tools.
