Exein and Premio Partner on Physical AI Security for Edge Platforms

WHAT HAPPENED
Exein and Premio Inc. announced a partnership to combine their technologies for edge AI security. Premio provides rugged edge computing platforms, while Exein Photon adds kernel-level runtime security to lock down unnecessary capabilities and block threats in real time on the same hardware.
WHO IS INVOLVED
Exein and Premio Inc. are partnering on this initiative, with team members including Channa Samynathan and Dustin Seetoo. The companies will demonstrate a live smart intersection use case at EDGE AI Taipei 2026.
WHY IT MATTERS
AI systems deployed at the physical edge—such as at intersections and on factory floors—cannot always reach the cloud or be patched remotely, requiring security to be built into devices from the start. This partnership addresses the need for real-time security in devices that must make decisions in milliseconds without cloud connectivity.
