Only companies that meet the entry rules are ranked: pure-play cybersecurity, selling a product mainly to businesses, with enough people and full public data. Each edition shows its exact rules and how many companies met them.

- What are Mandos Pacesetters?
- A quarterly rating of cybersecurity companies by market momentum. Each edition ranks the 10 fastest-growing companies in every category. All ten are Pacesetters, and each one shows its exact rank.
- How are the companies ranked?
- Mandos gives each company a 0-100 market momentum score using seven measures of hiring, team growth, funding and market presence. Scores are compared with peers in the same category and growth stage.
- Which companies are included?
- Only companies whose main business is cybersecurity, that sell products mainly to businesses, and that meet the team-size and data rules are ranked. Acquired and shut-down companies are excluded. Each edition shows its rules and how many companies met them.
- How often is it updated?
- Every quarter. Scores are frozen on the first day after the quarter ends and published about two weeks later. Each edition stays online as it was published.
- Can sponsorship affect a company's score or rank?
- No. Sponsorship does not affect inclusion, scores or rank. Every company is scored using the same method.
