Filigran and SEK Bring Managed Threat Intel to Latin America

WHAT HAPPENED
Filigran partnered with SEK to integrate OpenCTI threat intelligence and OpenAEV exposure validation into SEK's managed security services across Latin America. SEK will embed these tools directly into the MDR and SOC workflows it runs for enterprise customers in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Peru.
WHO IS INVOLVED
Filigran, a Paris-based open-source threat management company founded in 2022, partnered with SEK, one of Latin America's largest cybersecurity providers with 900 professionals and 25 years of regional experience.
WHY IT MATTERS
Filigran's research shows that only 38% of organizations use threat intelligence in automated validation processes and 97% struggle to determine if exposures are genuinely exploitable. This partnership addresses both gaps by embedding intelligence and validation directly into existing security workflows rather than adding separate tools.
