Securing AI Agents at Scale with NVIDIA

WHAT HAPPENED
Palo Alto Networks expanded its partnership with NVIDIA to secure autonomous AI agents across three areas: AI governance through Prisma AIRS AI Gateway running on NVIDIA Vera CPUs, runtime protection with Prisma AIRS AI Runtime Security on NVIDIA BlueField DPUs, and agent identity security powered by IDIRA.
WHO IS INVOLVED
Palo Alto Networks and NVIDIA are collaborating on the NVIDIA Open Agent Security Platform reference design to address security requirements for agentic AI workloads at enterprise scale.
WHY IT MATTERS
As AI agents move from assistants to autonomous systems that reason and act independently, enterprises need security controls outside the agents themselves to govern interactions, enforce least-privilege access, and prevent unauthorized actions before they reach critical systems.
