WHAT HAPPENED
RapidFort released patched container images for WordPress, Drupal, and PHP at no charge to address two critical PHP vulnerabilities rated CVSS 9.2 that allow unauthenticated attackers to execute code remotely.
WHO IS INVOLVED
RapidFort developed and is distributing the patched images in coordination with PHP maintainers and security researchers following a responsible disclosure process.
WHY IT MATTERS
Organizations running PHP need to identify affected versions in their containers, deploy fixed releases, and verify the patches are running in production to prevent exploitation of these critical vulnerabilities.
