WHAT HAPPENED
Splunk Agent Observability became a launch partner for Claude Platform's OpenTelemetry export feature, now in public beta for the Messages API, Claude Managed Agents, and Claude SDKs. The integration allows users to send agent traces from Claude Managed Agents to Splunk using built-in OpenTelemetry export capabilities.
