WHAT HAPPENED
Tonic Security emerged from stealth this week and raised $7 million in seed funding for an agentic exposure management platform designed to help organizations prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities faster. The company was founded in 2024 by CEO Sharon Isaaci and CPO David Warshavski.
WHO IS INVOLVED
Tonic Security operates in the vulnerability management and exposure management space, competing alongside other AI-driven security tools emerging to address alert fatigue and vulnerability prioritization challenges faced by enterprise security teams.
WHY IT MATTERS
Organizations struggle to prioritize which vulnerabilities pose the greatest risk amidst fragmented security tools generating unmanageable alert volumes. By combining threat intelligence with organizational data like help desk tickets and emails, Tonic Security aims to reduce breach risk by identifying exploitable vulnerabilities and speeding remediation before attackers can exploit known flaws.
