Upwind integrated its cloud workload protection platform with AWS Security Hub Extended, making Upwind's runtime-first security capabilities available through the AWS console with pay-as-you-go pricing and a single bill.
WHO IS INVOLVED
Upwind, a cloud security company used by Siemens, Peloton, Roku, Wix, Nextdoor, and Nubank, partnered with AWS to join the Security Hub Extended program alongside other partners like Chainguard, 7AI, and Splunk.
WHY IT MATTERS
Upwind's eBPF-based runtime monitoring detects active threats in real time by observing process behavior, network connections, and API calls in the Linux kernel, reducing alert noise compared to static configuration scanning. The integration lets customers combine runtime protection with other Security Hub Extended solutions and their existing AWS security stack without custom integration work.
