Enginsight partners with Verdane to grow its European cybersecurity solution

WHAT HAPPENED
Verdane led a growth financing round in Enginsight, a German cybersecurity software platform founded in 2017. Existing investors UVC, HDI and SIV also participated in the round. Following the investment, Verdane became Enginsight's largest shareholder.
WHAT THE COMPANY DOES
Enginsight develops a comprehensive cybersecurity platform that combines security information and event management, security orchestration, automation and response, and automated security operations. The platform integrates asset monitoring, vulnerability management, threat detection, compliance analysis and automated incident response. The company serves more than 750 customers across SMEs, public bodies, healthcare providers and regulated industries, and distributes through more than 250 channel partners.

Verdane led the round, with existing investors UVC, HDI and SIV participating alongside the lead investor.
WHAT THE MONEY IS FOR
Verdane will support Enginsight in scaling its partner channel, particularly Managed Service Providers, and expanding internationally. The company plans to pursue acquisitions and enter selected European markets beyond the DACH region with the goal of building a European cybersecurity platform. Enginsight will also expand sales of its security information and event management and managed detection and response services to existing customers.
WHY IT MATTERS
Demand for cybersecurity solutions is growing among European SMEs and public-sector organisations due to the EU's NIS2 directive and Germany's security requirements for critical infrastructure operators. Many public-sector organisations prefer German-developed software deployed on-premises within their own infrastructure. Enginsight's sovereign platform positions it to capture this growing market for European cybersecurity solutions.
