WHAT HAPPENED
CyberKord raised €2.7 million in a pre-seed funding round led by 360 Capital, with participation from Plus Partners, Addendum Capital and Vento. The Italian cybersecurity startup, founded in Milan in 2026 by Alessandro Maggio, Dragos Tanasa and Cosimo Michelagnoli, will use the capital to develop its AI-powered platform and launch pilot projects with large European companies.
WHAT THE COMPANY DOES
CyberKord builds a platform that automates IT and cybersecurity operations using AI and a Digital Twin of a company's infrastructure. The system identifies issues from security alerts or support tickets, simulates potential fixes and applies corrective actions without manual intervention. It integrates with existing cloud-based and on-premise tools and lets organizations control how much autonomy the AI has while recording all actions for review.
WHO INVESTED
360 Capital led the round. Plus Partners, Addendum Capital and Vento also participated.
WHAT THE MONEY IS FOR
CyberKord plans to further develop its platform and launch pilot projects with large European companies across manufacturing, technology, healthcare and telecommunications. The company also intends to expand its team in technical and commercial roles.
WHY IT MATTERS
Security threats are detected within minutes but resolving them takes much longer due to manual processes and human intervention. As companies expand infrastructure and deploy AI agents, IT and security teams spend more time on routine tasks like patches and access requests. CyberKord automates these operational tasks so expert professionals can focus on strategic projects and decisions instead.
