WHAT HAPPENED
TRM Labs launched the Ardence Data Network partner series with an integration of AML Ranger from Ondato. Ardence is TRM's operating system for financial crime investigators that consolidates multiple data sources into a single platform. The partnership marks the first addition to the Data Network, which will expand investigators' access to specialized datasets.
WHO IS INVOLVED
TRM Labs built Ardence and created the Data Network program. Ondato developed AML Ranger, a compliance and intelligence tool that adds sanctions, politically exposed person, and adverse media data to the platform. The two companies partnered to integrate Ondato's capabilities into TRM's investigation workflow.
HOW IT WORKS
Investigators using Ardence can now query TRM and partner data sources within a single investigation without switching between tools. AML Ranger adds sanctions screening, politically exposed person identification, and adverse media intelligence to the platform. When a person or company appears in a case, analysts see whether it is sanctioned, politically exposed, or mentioned in news coverage directly within Ardence.
WHY IT MATTERS
Consolidating multiple data sources reduces the manual work analysts perform checking each platform separately. Financial crime investigators can act faster when they access company, identity, internet infrastructure, threat, breach, and blockchain data alongside compliance and media intelligence in one system. The Data Network model allows TRM to add specialized capabilities without building them in-house.
THE DEAL
TRM Labs did not announce financial terms or pricing for the partnership.
