WHAT HAPPENED
VulnCheck launched Initial Access Community, a free public collection of exploits and security testing artifacts. The launch marks the milestone of VulnCheck's Initial Access Intelligence surpassing 1,000 VulnCheck-authored exploits. The community launches with 40 exploits selected for their real-world attacker utility, with new exploits and detection artifacts published every Monday.
WHO IS INVOLVED
VulnCheck created and released Initial Access Community as a public offering for security teams. The company has authored over 1,000 exploits that informed the initial 40 entries in the community collection.
HOW IT WORKS
Each exploit entry in Initial Access Community includes VulnCheck-authored exploit code, a vulnerable Docker environment for testing, a PCAP of successful exploitation, and detection rules. Security teams can download these artifacts to validate exploitability, test their detection systems, and assess their exposure to the included vulnerabilities.
WHY IT MATTERS
Initial Access Community provides security teams with free, tested resources to understand and defend against real-world exploitation techniques. The monthly release cadence of new exploits and detection artifacts keeps the collection current with emerging threats and attacker methods.
