Xage Security Joins SailPoint Technology Alliance Partner Program with XPAM Integration
Published 27 October 2026
WHAT HAPPENED
Xage Security joined the SailPoint Technology Alliance Partner program and built an integration connecting Xage Extended Privileged Access Management (XPAM) with SailPoint Identity Security. The integration links identity governance with privileged access enforcement across IT, OT, cloud, edge, remote, legacy, and AI environments.
WHO IS INVOLVED
Xage Security and SailPoint are the two companies behind this partnership. SailPoint governs which identities should have access, while Xage enforces what those identities can do with that access.
HOW IT WORKS
The integration automates the identity lifecycle by using SailPoint-driven processes to provision, update, disable, or remove Xage users as employees join, change roles, or leave. SailPoint access requests and approvals extend into Xage, where policies enforce MFA, just-in-time access, credential protection, and session controls. Xage returns user and membership data to SailPoint for certification and remediation, and automatically removes corresponding Xage User Group memberships when SailPoint withdraws an entitlement.
WHY IT MATTERS
Security teams get a continuous governance and enforcement loop that improves accountability and extends enterprise identity policy to critical, distributed environments. The integration reduces manual work by automating revocation and handoffs, helps teams identify stale privileges and access discrepancies, and governs third-party access by connecting contractor and vendor approvals to resource-specific permissions.
WHAT IT DOES
The integration automates identity provisioning and deprovisioning across Xage and SailPoint systems, extends approval workflows to enforce access controls like MFA and just-in-time access, manages third-party and vendor access governance, provides centralized access data for audit and compliance, and automatically revokes access when approvals are withdrawn or engagements end.
