Crytica Security Announces Distribution Partnership with Carahsoft for Federal and SLED Agencies
Published 3 November 2026
WHAT HAPPENED
Crytica Security announced a distribution partnership with Carahsoft to bring its threat detection technology to Federal and SLED agencies. The partnership will make Crytica's RDAi product available through Carahsoft's channels to help government entities secure critical infrastructure devices.
WHO IS INVOLVED
Crytica Security and Carahsoft are the two parties to the partnership. C. Lloyd Mahaffey is Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Crytica Security. Craig Abod leads the Cybersecurity team at Carahsoft.
HOW IT WORKS
RDAi is a small probe at 70KB that fits inside legacy and resource-constrained operational technology devices. It detects unauthorized changes to instruction sets within seconds at the point of injection and generates high-fidelity alerts with low false positives. The technology works inside devices where traditional tools cannot operate and integrates with existing SOC, SIEM, and XDR investments without replacing them.
WHY IT MATTERS
Government agencies need to secure millions of legacy and mission-critical devices across critical infrastructure. Traditional security tools cannot monitor inside these resource-constrained devices, leaving them exposed. Crytica's approach enables rapid detection and response to threats while working within the constraints of older operational technology systems that cannot be easily replaced.
MARKET POSITION
Carahsoft's established relationships with Federal and SLED agencies provide Crytica with distribution reach into a key market segment. The partnership expands Crytica's presence in government cybersecurity while allowing it to focus on product development rather than direct sales to these complex organizations.
