Cyera and Snowflake Partner to Secure AI Agents Accessing Snowflake Data

WHAT HAPPENED
Cyera and Snowflake partnered to help organizations secure AI agents accessing Snowflake data environments. Cyera identifies every agent with access to Snowflake, including Cortex AI, and shows what each agent can reach, then remediates exposure to sensitive data using dynamic masking and least-privilege enforcement directly within Snowflake.
WHO IS INVOLVED
Cyera and Snowflake are collaborating on the integration. Cyera's Gal Pollak and Snowflake's Navnit Shukla will conduct a walkthrough on October 20, with input from Snowflake's Director of Product Management for Security Nitika Gupta.
WHY IT MATTERS
AI agents now access critical business data in Snowflake at scale, but many organizations lack visibility into what these agents can reach or access. This partnership addresses a security gap by providing data governance controls directly where the data lives, reducing risk without requiring separate tools or data exports.
