Insignary launched Clarity AIR, a product now generally available that detects hidden open-source code and AI-generated code within software projects. The tool matches code against an open-source fingerprint database, identifies AI-written lines with confidence scores, and creates an AI Bill of Materials mapping AI models and frameworks dependencies.
WHO IS INVOLVED
Insignary built Clarity AIR as part of its Clarity product suite, alongside Clarity and Clarity SC. The product addresses regulatory requirements including OMB M-26-05, FDA Section 524B, and Canada's Critical Cyber Systems Protection Act.

Software bills of materials typically miss undeclared code—copied functions, forum snippets, and unreviewedAI-generated code.
