Scan for Good: Using AI to discover and fix high-priority exposures across public services and critical infrastructure

WHAT HAPPENED
Wiz launched Scan for Good, an initiative using AI and human security researchers to discover and fix high-priority exposures in public services, critical infrastructure, and nonprofits. The program has already identified hundreds of public exposures across national archives, hospitals, and municipalities that were fixed after notification.
WHO IS INVOLVED
Wiz partnered with Google DeepMind and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) on the project. The effort uses Wiz's Red Agent AI system to scan publicly facing websites, APIs, and applications in organizations serving vital community functions.
WHY IT MATTERS
Under-resourced organizations protecting critical infrastructure and public services often lack the resources to discover complex attack paths before malicious actors exploit them.
