Island raised $400 million in Series F funding, bringing its valuation to $6.4 billion. Evolution Equity Partners led the round, with participation from existing investors including Sequoia Capital, Coatue Management, and others, plus a personal investment from Dmitri Alperovitch.
WHO IS INVOLVED
Island is a 1,000-person company founded in 2022 that builds an agentic control plane for enterprise security and governance. The company is led by CEO Mike Fey and CTO Dan Amiga, and the funding was led by Evolution Equity Partners with Richard Seewald as Founder and Managing Partner.
WHY IT MATTERS
Enterprises need visibility and control over both human and AI agent activity across browsers, endpoints, networks, and data. Island has doubled its annual recurring revenue each fiscal year since 2022 and the funding enables the company to expand its control plane capabilities as organizations scale AI adoption.
